As the UK continues its transition towards a low carbon economy, the demand for green products and services continues to grow. Cities such as Greater Manchester remain at the forefront of this growth with 2015/16 seeing the total sale of green products and services reach £6.7bn.

For companies not yet benefiting from this growth, diversification into the sector brings access to new markets, new supply chains and new customers. Construction, fabrication and engineering are just some of the skills required to design, build, operate and maintain our low carbon cities – and for companies with ambition and determination, the time to engage and explore this dynamic sector is now.

Join us for an interactive and informative session exploring the opportunities presented by this dynamic sector. Delegates will receive practical tips and take-home tools designed to develop and inform a successful diversification strategy.

Topics covered included:

  • An introduction to the Low Carbon sector – Trends, drivers and opportunities
  • A local market perspective – Hear about upcoming projects for Greater Manchester
  • Diversification plans – Top tips and advice for a successful market entry
  • A tailored plan of action for your business
