This Leaders in Innovation masterclass promises to be a participative and provocative session working with Giraffe Innovation* and Manchester Metropolitan University who will be drawing on their experience in new product development with two key objectives in mind:

•    To identify and demonstrate the role of rapid prototyping including 3D printing in new product and service development;
•    To show how prototyping can reduce risk, cost, and increase market share and lifetime product revenues.

New product time to market is a critical factor that not only affects a particular product’s revenue and profitability, but can impact the overall success of your company. The longer the period of missed time to market, the larger the lost opportunity, revenue and profits.
Considering that 79% of new products miss the launch date, companies have an enormous opportunity to increase sales and profitability by improving new product time to market. Rapid prototyping techniques significantly help reduce time to market, and reduce risk through early user and supply chain engagement.

This practical session will include a demonstration of the facilities at Manchester Metropolitan University including their cutting edge 3D printing and laser cutting technology.
If you're looking to inject energy into your business, generate novel solutions to current problems or to learn new techniques to help you and your team get closer to your customers - this is the masterclass for you!

Delivered in half-day sessions by industry experts, our masterclass series provides you with the necessary tools to grow your business and unlock new and better products and services, making it difficult for your competitors to match.
