Green just might very well be the new black, and no-one demonstrates that better than electric car innovator Tesla.

Join us on 14th September at the Tesla Centre in Knutsford, for a drinks reception and panel discussion on how improving your environmental performance can fast-track your business. Whether it’s saving money, attracting talent or making you stand out from the competition, green practices can not only make a positive difference to the planet, but to your bottom line too.

We will be hosting a lively discussion for Greater Manchester businesses with some of the region’s key spokespeople on the green agenda, followed by a chance to eat, drink and network, all while admiring some of the world’s most incredible cars.

All delegates will be given a complimentary passenger ride in the Tesla Model S where they will be taken from 0 to 60mph in less than 3 seconds!

We will also be holding a prize draw to give one lucky winner the chance to drive away in a Tesla for the day - proof that green credentials can raise anyone’s adrenaline levels!

Panelists:

Nigel Blandford - Renewable Energy Investment Programme at The National Trust

Jonny Sadler - Programme Director at the Manchester Climate Change Agency

Todd Holden - Director for Low Carbon at The Growth Company

Sarah Lawless - Head of NW Operations at Big Partnership

Chair: Heather Gray, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Avensure

What will we be talking about?

  • Why sustainability matters and how your business can get involved.
  • Best practice examples from businesses who have engaged their employees to help realise their mission of reducing carbon emissions
  • The importance of communication: Exploiting the competitive edge that green credentials can give your business.
  • Greater Manchester’s targets for carbon reduction – independent of wider uncertainty, how can the region and its businesses strive towards ambitious goals?
