The town that was one of the founding fathers of the industrial revolution has undergone major regeneration in recent years.

The building of the Middlebrook Retail Park was followed by the construction of the £34m Bolton One project and major improvements to the University of Bolton and Bolton Transport Interchange. Developments at Market Place, Logistics North and Rivington Chase have also shone a spotlight on Bolton.

Business is booming but in an increasingly technological world how is Bolton rising to the challenge?
While all the talk is around a widening skills gap what can Bolton do to prevent the brain drain to nearby Manchester?

BusinessCloud has teamed up with the University Of Bolton; Bolton Council, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Business Growth Hub and a number of leading businesses across the borough to find out how they’ve embraced the digital revolution.

We’ll also be hearing from a panel of experts about the skills gap and the role that apprentices can play.

Confirmed speakers:
David Ingram, CEO, Bring Digital
Phil Foster, managing director, Love Energy
Chris Houghton, CEO, Eventura
Stephen Young, director of Place Bolton Council
