Manchester Growth Company, in conjunction with Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the Business Growth Hub, is hosting an event for its clients to explore the implications of Brexit for both Greater Manchester and local businesses.

  •          Sir Richard Leese, GMCA lead for Economic Growth
  •          Mark Gregory, Chief Economist for EY and sponsoring partner of the EY ITEM club
  •          Ros Kellaway, Head of the Eversheds EU Competition and Regulatory Group
  •          Dr Catherine Raines, Chief Executive, UK Trade & Investment

The referendum result has already been the catalyst for much political change and whilst the economic outcomes are still to be fully understood, it is clear is that there will be a range of impacts and opportunities for businesses.

The economic outlook and future trading framework for the UK (whether EEA, EFTA, WTO or bespoke) creates a range of scenarios that will influence growth opportunities for business.  We have expert legal and economic panellists who can outline these scenarios and what they might mean for your investments, international trade and broader implications for business.

The future growth of businesses is of particular interest in Great Manchester and the North of England, with devolution to the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and the development of the Northern Power House.  Our panellists will talk to this agenda and the broader business to Government interface that may shape future prospects  for devolution, economic and business growth.

In addition, we’re inviting you and your peers to join our panel debate and let us know how you think Brexit may impact your business and understand managing in uncertainty.

Invitations have been issued for this event and demand is high, but there are a limited number of tickets available for general booking. To request one of these places please register now. Confirmations to those able to attend will be sent prior to the event.
