We hope you can join us for the February Hub Lunch, which this month is being held at Hyde Town Hall.
This event will feature guest speaker Danny Manu, who will be talking about how he turned his passion for innovation, music and technology into a unique business idea.
Danny Manu, Founder of Mymanu
Danny studied audio engineering and sound design in London before pursuing an apprenticeship in civil engineering, which he combined with further study at Oxford Brookes University.
He then spent some time working at Trumpf CNC, learning more about programming, laser technology and product design before moving to Manchester where he joined one of the world’s leading aerospace companies, Haynes International.
But he never lost his passion for music and innovation and in 2014 he combined these with his technical skills to launch of Mymanu, unique waterproof speakers controlled by Bluetooth.
His business acumen and entrepreneurship has since been recognised in several regional award competitions, and the popularity of his product, which is now stocked by the likes of Better Bathrooms and B&Q, continues to grow.
