As part of Venturefest 2015, Manchester Science Partnerships will be hosting a life science breakfast in collaboration with Innovate UK and the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN). Speakers will be presenting on the growing bioscience innovation cluster at Alderley Park, Cheshire, including specialist R&D facilities and investment funds.

Life Sciences is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy and has become increasingly important for the region, with biotechnology having the highest GVA per employee of any sector in Manchester.

This breakfast seminar will provide an introduction to the world class bioscience R&D facilities at Alderley Park, including the Waters demonstration laboratory and the recently announced Medicines Technologies Catapult Centre, explaining how life science businesses will be able to access and benefit from these.  You will also hear about the start-up and business innovation support available from the BioHub incubator and the £5m Alderley Park Ventures Fund for start-up and spin-out businesses.

Please be aware that by booking onto a workshop you automatically have access to the main Venturefest event and Innovation Showcase. To find out more about Venturefest Manchester 2015 please click here.
