Value of Tender: The initial value of this contract will be for £225,000 (excluding VAT) and this could be significantly enhanced, subject to further funding being secured.

Synopsis: The Business Growth Hub (BGH) wishes to appoint a service provider to enter into a contract for the delivery of pre-start and post-start support to individuals wishing to start their own sustainable business in the Greater Manchester area. The service will help develop their understanding, knowledge and capability to create a successful and sustainable business, and support them to access follow-on growth support where appropriate.
It will have an initial target to
- engage and support a minimum of 300 individuals, providing them with a minimum of 12 hours of support to progress their plans to start a business
- provide evidence of a minimum of 200 successfully trading businesses,
- provide post-start support to a minimum of 100 businesses to remain sustainable (less than 24 months trading).
