As part of Venturefest Sci-Tech Daresbury will be hosting this workshop in collaboration with Innovate UK and Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), Lancaster University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester Science Parks, University of Manchester, University of Salford.
Universities and Science Parks/Campuses can enable you to accelerate the development of your business, but you may be missing out on the considerable opportunities that are available. Many entrepreneurs are accessing these benefits and getting real impact into their businesses, but you may not be one of them.
This event is for Entrepreneurs and business managers who are getting no benefit currently from these resources, or who have had some benefit but suspect they are missing out on other resources and opportunities.
Entrepreneurs are accessing facilities, expertise and financial support to accelerate the development of technology and services based businesses. From the universities, resources are available through their business schools as well as their science and technology departments.
In addition specific facilities are designed to accelerate product development and business growth, and are available through both the universities and through the science parks and campuses.
To make it simple, we have asked entrepreneurs who have used these resources to explain what is available, how to access it, what it is worth, and what benefits can be brought to your business based on what they achieved for theirs.
We will enable you to easily progress ‘next steps!’
Please be aware that by booking onto a workshop you automatically have access to the main Venturefest event and Innovation Showcase. To find out more about Venturefest Manchester 2015 please click here.
