Sorry this event has already taken place - please see our forthcoming events list

Join us to hear from two local businesses who'll share their successes and the challenges they've overcome from their own individual business journeys.

Winner of the Bolton and Bury Business Awards 2016: Business of the decade, IDN Supplies Ltd and their Director Dave Shuttleworth have been on a remarkable journey since forming in 1988. From initially selling typewriter ribbons out of a small managed office to becoming one of the country's leading IT and audio visual solutions' suppliers, with over 80 employees and still growing.

Our other guest speaker also has his roots firmly tied to Bolton. Formed in 2007 as a family run business providing bespoke picture framing as well as an art gallery and supplier of sporting memorabilia, White Wall Gallery & Framers Ltd were acquired last year by Matt and Natalie Carter. Matt will be sharing his experiences about the unique challenges he was presented with in order to grow an already established business with help from a Start Up Loan, whilst also diversifying their markets

We'll also be joined by Kate Smith from Bolton Council to talk about the Team Bolton Partnership and our advisors will be on hand to explain what support is available if you're looking at trading abroad, what measures you can put in place to save on energy costs as well as provide an overview of all our fully-funded services*.

As always our breakfast events provide a great opportunity for you to network with an ever-growing community of Greater Manchester-based SMEs, partner organisations as well as all the speakers and members of the Business Growth Hub Team.

Our Breakfast events book up fast, so register today** to join us.

* Eligibility criteria will apply for certain services.
** Priority will be given to those businesses that meet European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) eligibility criteria.
