The latest in our series of free breakfast events will showcase the ways in which digital technology and enhanced connectivity can help companies to grow and develop.
It will feature the launch of the new digital strategy for Wigan and also Go On Wigan, part of a national programme to improve people’s digital skills. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about how Get Digital Faster, the new £15m superfast broadband programme can help businesses in Wigan.
The session, which is being run by the Business Growth Hub and Wigan Council, will cover the range of services offered by the Hub’s own Digital Growth Programme, and the support the Hub can provide to help entrepreneurs find the funding to help their businesses grow.
There will also be an opportunity to hear from local companies that have experienced growth as a result of embracing digital technology, and a small exhibition area - The Marketplace – where business support providers and other businesses will help show SMEs how they can be more proactive online.
