This is the third in a series of masterclasses completely focussed on supporting textile manufacturing businesses to grow their businesses.  The session will be led by reputable textile manufactures sharing their experiences – good and bad.   You will have the opportunity to gain insight around how those manufactures have navigated through their own growth journey and lessons learned.  This third session will look at how to improve the image of the industry by better marketing and branding of your own business and why this is important for recruitment of younger employees.

Phil Dawson, MD of Bolton Textiles Group will talk about the “big picture” for the industry, how that is changing and what that means for the sector

A representative from the National Textiles Trailblazers Standards Groups will provide an update on how the industry is leading on the development of new apprenticeship frameworks and how that needs to be accompanied by a major image overhaul if young people are to be attracted into the industry

Neil Kapuski, Chief Operating Officer from Ushiwear will talk about how to get the right product image, identifying the right market and getting your product out there.

Expect lots of conversation between the attendees and the speakers

The masterclass will be followed by an optional tour of the host’s Bolton Textiles Group factory
