Oldham Enterprise Trust - NW Networking Event
An event spotlighting two new opportunities for businesses keen to grow.
NW Networking is a business networking group run by its members, for its members. It is run as a non-profit-making exercise – all monies collected from members’ subscriptions are used to market the group, improve meetings or put towards a number of social events, with the bulk of any surplus going towards local charities.
The idea is to meet other like-minded local business owners in an inexpensive, no pressure, relaxed and informal setting, get to know them, understand their business and the types of industries to which they would like introductions. How pooling resources in terms of knowledge and contacts, and working as a team can help each other to grow businesses.
Aided by NW Networking, the event host, Bizspace has a unique offer to support a new or recent business with a free serviced office along with IT support and business advice for 12 months, Come along and find out about this once in a lifetime offer.
Also, hear about the Executive Development Programme – run by the Business Growth Hub – supports the expansion of B2B companies. 23 Degrees Business Solutions is one of the providers carefully selected to deliver the bespoke development programme to successful SMEs. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund the Programme has been designed to specifically support senior leaders/key decision makers, within the region’s evolving organisations, with leadership areas that will lead to business growth and the creation of new jobs.
Research indicates that senior executives and managers often miss out on opportunities to develop new skills, with company training budgets usually directed towards other areas of the business. The Business Growth Hub’s fully-funded Executive Development Programme has been implemented to change this. Executive teams and business owners from eligible SMEs across Greater Manchester are able to work with experienced business coaches on a whole range of issues.

Who should attend?
This is an in-depth, bespoke programme whereby your company is matched with a business coach/trainer who can then work with executives, either individually or as a team, to develop their leadership skills. These can cover a very specific business issue, such as an acquisition or succession planning, or be part of a wider, more generic learning process.
This flexible programme is also a superb resource for owners of smaller SMEs, who have neither a board of directors with whom to discuss ideas, nor the funds to pay for their own business coach.
