Market Research - Day 1

This masterclass looks at market research. The sessions will introduce you to the basic concepts of market research and where and when to use it. We’ll talk about how market research can contribute to the growth and resilience of your business. We’ll also show you how to do your own market research for free or at a low cost.

You’ll leave the day with an outline of your market research plan and key actions to get you started.

Kate Carney from Ruby Star Associates will lead you through the masterclass, introducing you to the latest evidence about what really works for businesses and drawing on experience from the thousands of small businesses that the multi-award winning team at Ruby Star Associates have supported to grow and thrive.

This is a highly interactive session which includes evidence-informed facilitation exercises. There is an outline agenda but this will be shaped and varied based on the needs of the businesses at the session. It is useful if you come to the session with a clear idea of what you need to get out of it for your business, so we can adapt the session accordingly.

All participants will receive a workbook with notes, examples, exercises and resources to allow them to continue to develop their learning after the session.

How can we ensure our website looks trustworthy?

What do you need from a website/landing page funnel/essentials (what do you do/why should I care/how can I trust you/what should I do next)?

Introduction to email marketing and creating campaigns.

Digital Presence audit and building an audience

What are the essentials for your digital presence? How do you find and build an audience?

Digital Marketing Strategy

Working with others (and with input from the facilitator) you’ll devise an outline digital marketing strategy to get you started. There is also time for questions, answers and ideas.
