Introduction to Graphene and other 2D Materials for SME manufacturers interested in developing graphene applications.
Manchester is an international centre of excellence for graphene.
These events will give you the chance to find out more about the role of the National Graphene Institute (NGI) and the Graphene Engineering and Innovation Centre (GEIC).
Graphene. The world's first 2D material. Since its isolation in 2004 it has captured the imagination of scientists and researchers worldwide. It is ultra-light, yet immensely tough. It is 200 times stronger than steel, but is incredibly flexible. It is fire resistant yet retains heat. It is a superb conductor, but not even helium can pass through it. All this and more. Much more.
Please be aware that priority will be given to SME manufacturing organisations for the industry workshops. If you are a business support organisation please book on our introduction event on the 22nd June.
