WordPress is one of the world’s most popular tools for creating websites and blogs, responsible for over 60 million sites worldwide. Join Claire Dodd from MadLab and GirlGeek Up North as she guides you through this popular and easy to use platform.
Over this two day, hands-on workshop, you will cover the basics of building a website, from layout and design to content management and functionality. Claire will work with you to create your own site, design a layout, and upload and manage content .
This is a session for absolute beginners who have never used WordPress before, and do not currently have a WordPress blog or website (if you already have a WordPress site, we will be announcing some further events tailored to you).
You will need to bring your own laptop.
What is Eveolution?
Eveolution is a fully-funded programme created to improve the digital skills, literacy and confidence of female entrepreneurs, business women and start-ups across Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Eveolution is part of the Women and Broadband project.
