Sorry this event has already taken place - please see our forthcoming events list

An overview of the 6 key elements of the talent lifecycle and guidance on how to ensure that elements from defining the business need, through to recruiting, inducting, developing and retaining match a businesses direction.

Includes a 30-minute workshop called ‘Deal With Talent’ whereby the audience reads out, or presents their own, employee related dilemmas.

The audience and presenters discuss common pitfalls that arise from not considering business need pre- hiring such as recruiting incorrectly, having poor induction processes, not having catch-ups and changing direction.

The session focuses on ensuring that attendees leave with ideas on how to improve both their recruitment to induction processes and in-role support appropriate for their business and employee type.

What will attendees learn / take away from the session?

Ways to consider their recruitment needs looking at the business first, how and where to hire appropriately and according to their business needs, how to induct and inspire new employees, development path options and why leaving employees are just as important as new and existing ones.

Overall focus of the session is to link the business goals to the hiring and development of individual teams/skills.
