Because we need to produce the badges anyone who now registers will need to go to the non-registered desk on the day so we can make you a badge. If you wish to attend this workshop, please make sure to arrive for 8am and tell the staff which workshop you wish to attend.

Breakfast session jointly hosted by: Lancaster University, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Manchester, University of Salford, Sci Tech Daresbury and Manchester Science Partnerships.

The North West Universities and Science Parks/Campuses are a dynamic network of academics, practitioners and business professionals passionate about advancing university-industry interaction and collaborative innovation to support business in reaching their full potential.

Universities’ Business Support Teams work with local businesses every day in a variety of ways, such as:

  • connecting businesses with an academic who can offer advice and support in a specialist subject
  • placing a student into their business to work on a particular project and graduate recruitment
  • providing bespoke training or access to specialist equipment/facilities.

The Science Parks offer space in a stimulating and innovative environment that enables business to meet their growth aspirations.

The event will provide the opportunity to hear from business leaders who have successfully engaged with a University utilising services such as consultancy, student or graduate recruitment or support to access Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) or collaborative research.  Representatives from the local Universities will also be on hand to provide help and advice on navigating and accessing the support services to help grow your business and gain competitive advantage.
