As part of Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF), the Hub are running a workshop to show that the devolution of skills is a priority for Greater Manchester and the importance of giving employees the tools needed to grow a business should be at the forefront of business planning. Developing employees can overcome barriers to businesses that are looking to grow and can create a innovative culture within the workforce.

Supporting business growth through the development of people strategies, policies and best practice provides the foundation for businesses to become a high performing workplace

During the workshop you’ll hear from businesses at the other side of the journey, outlining what a developed workforce looks like in culture focused on innovation.

Euroscience Open Forum

From 24 – 27 July 2016 Europe’s largest science conference dedicated to scientific research, The EuroScience Open Forum, comes to the UK for the first time and will be held at Manchester Central.

ESOF provides a unique opportunity for the scientific community from around the globe to engage with one another, explore the latest thinking and debate new discoveries. It is expected that the event will bring together more than 4,500 leading minds from innovators, researchers, academics policy makers, journalists and educators from over 90 countries. 

The Euroscience Open Forum explores a diverse range of key industry sectors for Manchester, the UK as a whole and industries for which future breakthroughs in science and technology will have major impact.
